I can only assume
that the artwork
is rather polarizing.
The Portland, Maine
illustrator/poet
places mayhem
on the page
in the form
of portraits,
journal entries,
maddening scribbles,
and harsh lines,
creating an experience
of a troubled child
with notebooks full
of internal release.
Each piece is full
of strong character
and loud voices,
reminding me a bit
of Lane Smith
(Stinky Cheese Man)
and Ralph Steadman.
Lewis Rossignol
will dazzle
and, at times,
utterly terrify,
making him one
of the most interesting
accounts to follow
on Instagram.
