Two of my favorite
artists connected
for the full-length
Lux Prima.
Nine songs long
and it feels like
a proper progression
for both artists,
feels like picking up
where Danger Mouse's
Rome left off,
where Broken Bells
last closed,
where Yeah Yeah
Yeahs last made noise,
where Karen O's
Crush Songs
hushed into echoes.
It's a psychedelic
and stripped down
project, at times
reminding me
of Pink Floyd
and others of
an acoustic
bedroom session
intimate and honest.
I love these two
artists and this album
does not disappoint,
especially this video
featured below
directed by Spike Jonze.
