I listened to a bunch

of ambient and classical music

throughout this past winter.

Spotify recognized this

and recommended an album

by William Ryan Fritch

that instantly grabbed my attention.

The cover features a man and an eagle.

I had to press play.

After listening a few times,

I did a bit of research.

Released in 2017, it is the

soundtrack to the short documentary

(embedded above) that follows

a nomadic group of Kazakhs

in the Western plains of Mongolia.

They hunt with golden eagles.

Bad. Ass. Dazzling and 100%

worth your while, the short film

provides a taste of the ambient soundtrack,

but I recommend you give

the entire thing a listen.

Ideally if you're feeling sleepy.
