Michigan producer
Joey Pecoraro
has been one
of the most consistent
and enjoyable
artists for me
these last few
years. With three
albums in just
as many years,
he's encapsulated
a vintage and cinematic
listening experience
where it's okay
to smile and enjoy
the sunshine outside,
where it can all
be so beautiful
(and, yes, at times,
sorrowful)
if you soak in
each second and
give life a chance.
Deep in a Dream of You,
his newest LP,
soundtracks the night
from the time
your eyes close
until the time
your eyes open
in the morning.
It’s a fitting title
for such a slumber
filled landscape.
Instrumental
concept albums
always hit the spot
and this is one
of the finest around.
