Back in February,

the Detroit-based producer

Joey Pecoraro

released his album

Tired Boy.

Made up of nine

instrumental tracks,

the album fits

this springtime sunshine

so nicely.

I missed it

when it was first released

back in the winter,

but the sounds contained

within match

a Midwestern April.

I first caught on

to Pecoraro through bleeklino

and it's great to hear

the progression

in both of their styles

over the years.

Full of vintage samples

and the smoothest

of grooves,

Tired Boy

is perfect

for a run around

in a park or a field,

a nap in a hammock

or on a park bench.
