It's cold in Chicago
and while plenty
of new music
is being released
every damn day,
sometimes it's important
to revisit albums
from the past,
albums that feel cold,
that demand a fireplace,
that just don't hit as hard
in the summer months.
Such is the case for
Dublin artist
Slow Skies,
who released
the five song
Keepsake
back in 2014.
It sounds like
walking on ice.

"Winter Night"

which was my introductory
track into her career.
Happy winter,
happy Monday.
