Jump into a Pool

from 2003.

I grabbed this collection,

the second volume

of the publication,

after being impressed

by a poem by Angela Ball

inside David Dodd Lee's

Shade (2006) anthology.

Following that poem,

I searched

the poet's back catalog,

only to stumble

upon her contribution

to Pool.

The journal is full

of contemporary poetry,

featuring over 40 writers

who all contribute

slivers of wisdom,

observations that dazzle.

Pool is still active

as an online journal.

You can buy editions here.

As you can see below,

the art

is incredibly on point.
